Fragrant Oil - A Worship and Intercession Conference for Women

She did all she could - Mark 14:8 Jesus used these words when speaking of a woman who, despite what people thought, anointed His feet with fragrant oil as an act of worship. There is a longing in the heart of God for His people to go deeper and higher with their worship and intercession.

Letter from Rita

Ladies, thank you for your interest in attending a Fragrant Oil Conference! Years ago, the Lord began speaking to me about the importance of encouraging women into a revelation of His love for them.  My ministry journey for the last several years had given me a small glimpse into the power of this revelation as I watched the Bride come into agreement with God’s opinion of her.  Yet I knew there was more on God’s heart concerning the vision He had entrusted to me.  I continued to wait on Him...In January 2001, the Lord released an answer to many years of prayer.  He partnered me with two of the most amazing women ministers I have ever met: Teri Gladstone Furr and Dawn Sweigart. All of our hearts were knitted together and so was our cry.  In April 2001, the Fragrant Oil Conference was birthed in Houston, Texas.  We were stunned by what we saw God do among the 500 women who gathered in His name!  This marked the beginning of an amazing journey that has led us into cities across the United States.

Dawn, Teri and I believe that we have received a mandate from the Lord to see women set free from sin, shame and unbelief thus bringing an emergence of the Bride that He is returning for. The theme of the conference is taken from Mark 14, where we find the beautiful portrait of a woman laying everything she has at His feet. Her act defied many political and social graces, yet it displayed God’s desired atmosphere for the Gospel’s sound in the earth.

Jesus was able to say of the woman, “She did all she could...”  Through worship, teachings from the Word and insight into true intercession, women are finding the deep love of Christ that is birthing a freedom to believe who He calls them to be.  We hope that our paths will cross this weekend as we endeavor to journey into His heart.

Blessings, Rita Springer
